I never move Bitcoin which are in cold storage, the best way to buy a product or service in sats, is to immediately purchase at current exchange rate and use the freshly acquired sats for use.
Seems obvious but it is good practice 🫡

If it’s a large amount, yes. Because I’d never keep a large amount on a hot or custodial wallet.
