What's special about this dismantled view of it?

It captures my disdain. A video of me hammering it would have got the point across better

Why did you break it though?

Ledger is registering wallets now and supports key extraction. I can no longer sign transactions with non-standard (private) derivation paths.

Hmm that does seems sus, but why would they go this route?
