⚡️🚨 ALERT - Criminals launch several scam campaigns targeting Ledger users.

➡️ Fake letters sent to Ledger holders in the USA.

The letters announce an "urgent and critical security update" and ask users to scan a QR code and provide their seed phrase.

➡️ A fake Ledger Live application targeting macOS users, which replaces the real application with a fake version that asks users to enter their seed phrase.

➡️ Attacks on Discord, with a moderator account on Ledger's official Discord server recently compromised.

➡️ Phishing on X, telegram and reddit, with one user reporting in January that he had lost $15,000 after unknowingly entering his seedphrase in a fake application shared on the platform.

Ledger will never ask you for your seedphrase, whether by phone, SMS or any other means. And even if they did, I'd tell them to fuck off.
