In the UK recently I've noticed the government are moving against bitcoin and crypto in general;

Exchanges have space taken up giving us warnings about the risks, nicehash has stopped offering services to UK customers, so you can't even sell computing power any more and I've just learned that, at the very least, Kraken has been ordered to stop offering Monero to UK citizens, presumably because privacy is evil or something...

They're getting desperate but let's not be complacent. I still can't live 99% on #btc yet, which means there's a lot of work to be done.

I'm highly confident one of the safest places to be in the coming decades will be the UK when it comes to freedom. 800 years of saying FU to authority. We'll pull through. Maybe our grandkids will get back 0.01% of the BTC they steal from us at gunpoint, but we'll get there.

I needed to hear that, the lockdowns made me feel otherwise, till I saw people training for civil disobedience and then thousands of NHS staff held out against the drug mandates resulting in the collapse of the Vax passport bollocks. I've been feeling a bit negative about my fellow Brits recently.

You're right as well, though the history of saying FU to authority goes back further than the Normans who had to hide behind their castle walls, even the famous vikings knew they had to integrate or they'd be kicked out.

Yeah, "they" are making a play for global dominance. They will lose. Even with space lasers to fry wrong-thinkers. Even with microchips in people's brains. Ultimately, free thought cannot be stopped. Subjective need will always exist. Enlightened souls will walk the earth. As long as they do, we cannot lose.

Wow no need for the zap but thank you kindly.
