So X is banned in Brazil, that is why we use Nostr.

I had a conversation with a friend of mine about this. I told him they can’t ban Nostr.

He replied: yea, I’d like to see that in

China.

Nostr can’t be banned anywhere right?

Banning things won't stop people from doing things

Nostr can be banned as much as bitcoin can be banned. This is why protocol > platform.

But Bitcoin IS banned in China right? I don’t know how, but isn’t it?

Exactly. But the ban is meaningless. They ban it 3 times a year.
