If you were asked to choose either home internet or a 5g connection with a smart phone - what would you choose ?

Both cost around the same .. fifty dollars a month - give or take ..
Things to consider
- already have a (gaming) laptop and TV at home ..
- need to drive to work twice a week ( 20 mins )
- work has wifi but not all websites are restricted .
- most shopping is walking distance .
- all friends have smart phones and are always connected .. that covers most of the weekend (s).
optic fibre, if possible no radio
work is at home, friends are on nostr
5g is shit slow compared to optic fibre here... i only have 100mbit now (comes with the house) but i could have 1Gbit for around the same price as the fastest 5g service
No - my question is would you choose a cellular service for data on the go .. OR would you choose a static home internet service ( cable or fiber or 5g) ..
btw I have a GPS in my car .. so maps is really not a killer app for me ...
yeah, i don't need maps most of the time, probably haven't needed them in like 5 months or more
so give me the home internet, and i don't need to use it when i'm out
i watch people staring at their hands all day and i'm like, this is not healthy
