🌅 It began with a jackdaw —

and a sunrise reflecting its light in her eyes.

She sat on the post — before the road vanishes into mist.

Not coincidence. A mirror.

A sign: “You are ready.”

I slept with the clock in my hand.

Not out of fear. Out of expectation.

Today, I met someone. Let’s call him LivingMen.

We sat in the truck—hours on end. He spoke of cars —

of engines, ramps, parking positions.

But I listened — truly listened —

to his grief for Sicily, his anger over what went unspoken,

his hope carried in Brazilian coffee beans and Sicilian olive oil.

And I learned:

For some people, to be listened to is the rarest thing on Earth.

They’re rarely heard—not because they speak too loudly,

but because few stay quiet long enough to hear.

I stayed.

Thanks to the pauses:

→ a sip of water,

→ a song (exactly 4 minutes),

→ two pieces of licorice root,

→ a glance into the trees.

These small anchors held me in myself.

And so I could be truly present —

not as a savior. Not as an expert.

But as a human learning to become more congruent.

đź’ˇ And the mishap?

I felt satisfied with the parking job.

But he said: “Adjust it once more.”

I didn’t follow my mind —

I followed my heart.

Which can be very loud, sometimes.

I should’ve simply moved the pots —

to make space for the 1-meter ramp.

Instead, I tried to park “correctly”: 10 cm from the wall.

That’s when it happened:

crack — the warning light bracket. Torn off. Just plastic.

Then came the coffee.

From the client.

Nothing else.

No thanks. No praise. No drama.

Just coffee.

And that was enough.

Because today wasn’t about being perfect.

It was about being true.

✨ As I once wrote:

“Lightness begins on the tongue —

when we chew with gratitude.”

Today, I chewed licorice.

Drank coffee.

Felt my heart beat.

And let go.
