Current interest rate with Ally savings account is 4.25%. Capital One 360 Performance savings account is 4.35%.

This is absolute garbage!

I’m not looking for piddly interest rates on my savings. I’m looking for the prices of everything in life to be lower year after year.

The utility price of housing, food, utilities, education should be *lower* than what my parent’s paid.

As Jeff Booth points out, “technology increases productivity, which lowers the price of goods to their marginal cost of production.”

I don’t want a piddly 4.25% on my savings. I want prices to be lower than what my parent’s paid.
