I am in Lisbon for a few days and I just had a half hour walk in the rain to a place where I could pay in Bitcoin.

When the time came I asked if I could pay with Lightning Network but once the waiter created the QRcode the payments would not go through. I tried Phoenix, Breeze and even Wos but nothing.

They told me at the restaurant that they had different configurations for different Wallets and the Wallets they had were Metamask, Trust Wallet, Binance, Coinbase and Crypto.com..

We tried all configurations but nothing, it didn't work. While on bitcoin network they were asking me for 8 euro fee out of 17 cost for food.. In the end I had to pay in fiat shitcoins currencies..

A total disaster, it was very disappointing to be unable to use bitcoin. I explained to the restorateur that they should use Btc pay server or Breez but they were a bit confused about being sovereign of their own money.. Ok, I understand we are really at the beginning..

There is a lack of financial and libertarian education. Until people don't understand that they must to cut out third parties and own responsibility for their assets, we will never have a Bitcoin Standard.

Anyway I'm not a tech guy, maybe someone know the reason why payments didn't work with all my wallets?
