are paid relays typically pay-to-write, free-to-read or are they typically pay-to-read, too?

if i use a paid relay would i be limiting who can read my notes? or should i use a paid relay to write and read, and then use separate free relay to write for people to read for free?

i want to make a video to explain this, but i need to make sure i’ve got it right first
