ISP < cat5 > OpenWrt router < cat5 > node
doesn't need WiFi, it's wired direct on lan
I would/could turn WiFi off but ISP modem/router doesn't have that option, ISP has no alt modem/router, and I have no alt ISP (yet)

Thanks for sharing that. My node is directly connected to my router via cat5 as well, but I unplug the entire router at night.
I’ll let you know if I find a good option that allows you to turn off the WiFi but keep direct connections open
