Does namecheap offer some kind of discount on their renewals beyond whats shown here? Im having a hard time understanding why most people go with and recommend namecheap instead of namesilo.

Theyve been around for about 10 to 15 years, vs namecheap who i think is about 20+

Both can accept Bitcoin (only layer 1 AFAICT) and offer free WHOIS privacy.

Of the two, Ive only used namesilo. Their API and UI while dated, functions well enough for automation
