A week ago I got my first 3D printer. I have never printed anything or seen a print in person before. It feels like magic. Like unlocking a new world of potential never thought possible before.

The last two times I had this feeling were when the internet came around and when I (sort of) understood bitcoin.

I also already see it changing my shopping behaviour. Today, I saw a little herb growing appliance in the supermarket which I thought of buying for a second, but then saw the price and was like "Wait what, 10 bucks? Imma print my own." 😃
