In Mozambique, the ruling Frelimo party's presidential candidate Daniel Chapo has been declared the winner of the country's presidential election. According to the National Election Commission (CNE), Chapo secured over 70% of the votes. However, opposition candidates Venancio Mondlane and Ossufo Momade have claimed fraud and manipulation in favor of Frelimo. The EU observer mission also reported irregularities, including an "unjustified alteration" of results at some polling stations. As tensions rise, protesters are calling for change.
