Oh I find it interesting.

As I understand it, the INTJ has extroverted sensing, which would cause them to be more similar to the SJs who are tactical, so that makes sense.

Strategic isn't just planning before action, it also includes understanding complex systems easily.

Basically, I think your personality is slightly better, hm, I mean "different", than those who are SJs and only have tactical as a strength 😇

I'm supposed to be the diplomat, and sure, I do have that, but I also have a high adaptability and so I can work in all 4 domains. I've thought of myself more as a strategic person, though when comparing it with my husband who is an ENTP who has maybe the most strategic, it looks different.

He has very low action energy, so he thinks before he starts acting, whereas I get just enough info and then I start acting and I idirate as I go. But my ability to understand the system is what helps me be more tactical. If I don't know why, it's really hard for me to act with confidence.

yeah, i also kick into gear as soon as i start to understand what is required. often i just put off learning that part for ages even though i want to do the thing. programming web UIs is like that for me, i kinda needed someone to drag me into it, i have the understanding of programming in general but never got to the lightbulb moment with it in many attempts before. and i don't expect to get that for some time yet, but i can still understand the structure bit by bit until then, and be productive.
