Hmm, with damaged kidneys you should probably be cautious with higher doses of boron. I know close to nothing about that condition 😕

i'm playing cautious with it but the potassium has unlocked a lot of the capability so it was the biggest weakness, with that out of the way i'm suffering a lot less cramps and the pain down there almost never, so i think that was the main reason for it
as i understand it, boron is a limiter for calcium and magnesium so very likely that's the next line behind the potassium
i only ended up with this potassium problem by going keto/carnivore... there simply is not nearly enough K in these diets!
i'm now starting to be of the opinion that the lack of root vegetables, and maybe also leaves, is a serious deficiency in these diet schemes for people who are close to kidney failure like me
when you are getting cramps and pain first thing to sort out is potassium, and that means at least potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, lettuce and spinach, and i don't think there is any harm in actual potassium chloride (been finding that it helps immensely) and probably, as i kept getting nagged before i started on it - coconut milk, which is also very high in potassium
yeah, it's a whole scheme, i think you can order it importance like this:
K B Na Cl Ca Mg
potassium is the weakest link, which is funny because it's the most radioactive, so i think not only is it essential chemically, probably the radiation is important to creating DNA resilience to beta/alpha particle damage, as in taleb style antifragility
