Mandatory BM attire includes boots, handkerchief around the neck, hip sack/holster with attached water bottle or camelback pack, maybe a set of goggles for dust.

Daytime look would involve a hat and sunglasses(or tinted goggles) with minimal/lightweight clothing like tank tops, vests, booty shorts, sun dress, skirts, underwear, bathing suit tops/bottoms, pasties, basically half naked and sun protection cuz hot.

night time attire would involve light up clothing items(or clothing with lights attached somehow, el wire etc), big fuzzy coats, long pants, fuzzy vests, with attached lights. Basically trying to keep warm opposite of daytime and illuminated to prevent being ran over by bikers and art cars

I love this Austin! But where the heck do you purchase these from online? 🫂🙏

Well burning man is a very self reliant kind of place, so most people would buy parts from all over and combine them. Amazon, Etsy, local thrift stores, costume type shops, etc.

Use stuff you already own like water bottles or sunglasses/hats, use Amazon to get inexpensive commodity type things like goggles, hankerchiefs. Use Etsy to get more unique things like hip sacks/holster vests.

Then things you might already own like lingerie, bathing suits, mixed with hiking boots/military/work type boots, skirts/tank tops/crop tops

Some pix - white Wednesday is a theme, tutu Tuesday is a theme, most people dress pretty boring tbh, stuff you can get dusty in and work hard and stay cool is common.

Love love and love

Oh one other tip, to look really authentic get something dusty and white and cover everything in it, like flour or baking soda or something, really rub it all over everything to give it a white petunia haha
