This is a reminder to my future self, 10 years from now.

Today, people think:

- Nostr is just another social media app.

- Nostr can’t scale.

- Who’s gonna run the Relays?!?!?

- We haven’t found the killer app for mainstream adoption.

- It might only stay a Bitcoiner echo chamber.

But to my future self if you’re reading this, remember—this was a wild time and all of us are having a lot of fun.

Whatever Nostr became, it’s already pretty damn cool. 🫡

Not surprised. Wallets and BTC talk everywhere, lol. Most peeps here are too deep in the bubble... I suck at webdev, but someone else may not. Then, there is marketing. There is a lot of work - and someone has to do it - and it should _not_ be a coiner.

idk if yall forgot, but many "mainstream" ppl are weirded out by "crypto" and "bitcoin" x). ("mainstream" defined as someone who watches the medium average news shows and alike - very generic, very "influenced" you might say.)
