A friend told me there are catastrophic issues with Lightning network and it will definitely fail.

How many times have they said bitcoin failed. Its the same when they that about lightning. There is a privacy issue. But fail as a whole network i dont think so.

Also there was an issue a few weeks ago with a dev he said he found a bug in the network but someone donated a bunch of btc so the can figure it out. Im sure some will note the article here for you 🖖🏾
