Watched The Empty Man (2020), a horror movie directed by David Prior. An ex cop tries to find a group of teens who disappeared. They apparently summoned a creature called “the empty man”. As he continues investigating, he discovers a diabolical cult and the line between reality and nightmare blurs. This one was entertaining. The special effects were well executed. The acting was good. Seeing the main character slowly lose his grasp on reality was interesting. Not sure if the story didn’t make much sense in the last third of the film, or if I just stopped paying attention. Either way that’s not a good sign. 6.8/10 #nodereviews
