Fell asleep twice watching the Putin interview, finally made it through. Here are my thoughts:

* Carlson was way out of his depth, unprepared, didn't pushback on a bunch of BS, he basically just held the microphone.

* Putin is not lying but also not telling the truth. He cherry picks what he wants, omits the uncomfortable truths and tells things in a way that paints his ridiculous narrative

* Americans seem to know 0 about European history.

* Why the english voice-over for the Putin part and not just have subtitles? Annoying af

The key points are Russia wanting to (perhaps) join NATO, making it irrelevant for real. Pretty Machiavellian actually and Russia (perhaps) wanting a joint missile defense system. Again, if true, paints our Oligarchs in a light not seen by 90% of mericans

Even if those were true, he might have just been trolling at the time. Russians have always been master trollers, making insane propositions just to see how others react.

Either way, our oligarchs ignoring such advances is pretty damning

Carlson is kind of dim based on this “interview”

90% Americans knows 0 about anything outside the POND - ask which country is Hawaii Alaska Guam

Mr. Carlson's unpreparedness was highly annoying. I haven't listemed to him much but his questions were pathetic most of the time, and he didn't push at all. IDK if ineptitude or censoring--and I wish he'd tell us whether or not he was censored, what with his commitment to truth and all.

He could take a lesson or 10 from HO Mr Evans
