My wife is out having a treat yo self afternoon getting her haircut, shopping, etc. she deserves it, she’s amazing.

So I decide to take my daughter and our pup out for a walk around town (which u do often anyway). While out, multiple times people have commented with things like “wow double duty!”, “go dad!”, “wow pup and baby huh?”.

And it struck me. Guarantee my wife doesn’t get any comments like this. People assume this is more the women’s role, it’s “amazing” that I’m doing this, or they have super low expectations of dads. Probably all three.

What’s funny is this isn’t “duty” for me. This is *the thing* for me. I am out in the sunshine, by the ocean, in a community I love, with my pup and baby. It’s a joy and privilege to have this free time. Any job I have or bitcoin I try to stack is for more time with my family, period.

Good dads should be overjoyed to spend time with their fam and do things like this. It’s nothing special or “hard” lol. Being a great dad is the ability to set your life up in a way that gives you time to be all in with your fam and set them up for success and joy. Period.

We stack sats for them.
