For me it's more about luring people in, although it's not a different thing. There's not too many Czechs and Slovaks (very similar language) at all, on Nostr we are like 10-15 active. Now there was at some point a few people joining in from mostr (mastodon), which sucked in thread conversation, and later for the rest I gave up.

Now we few talk mostly English even among us. And won't attract anyone from our corner.
