If Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and others are exposing government corruption, wasteful spending, and dark secrets, why is Edward Snowden still treated as a criminal for exposing mass surveillance on innocent citizens? The truth shouldn’t be punished. Selective justice is not justice at all.

Seems like a matter of what got the most attention and Snowden isn't a diehard bitcoiner so that voting block mattered much less.

Snowdens crime was premeditated, and now he's in exile & generally doing well for himself (I think)

Ross' crime probably never happened, and he was in US federal prison for life

Priorities.

Snowden’s actions were pre-meditated. He committed no crime - he exposed crime on a massive scale by the US and its allies.

Maybe not a crime in nature, but certainly a broken contract with known consequences.

Point is, Snowden did it all deliberately & alone, unlike Ross.
