Yes. As long as users have to enable/disable algos in their client I'm not opposed to them. We've debtated this in the past and it would very cool if users would be asked about their likes and hobbies or whatever during npub creation and then get presented with a customised timeline matching the content they want to see. It would do much for a better first experience.
