I never thought I would like a normcore café. It's very opposite of my life philosophy, although blending in is a really good strategy.

But it can be done really well. Norm in Penang, Malaysia is a big warehouse-like building. The staff is dressed in shirts. A concrete bench flows around the place with tables around it. And there are trees and stones.

And the coffee is amazingly good.

I think I can handle a bit of normcore from time to time...

What are the acoustics like?

My kid decided to scream, judging from the faces of everyone inside, the acoustics were pretty good. I would go to a concert in there.
