Nope. It would (almost) impossible to get the same exact full key (all characters/digits). But someone else could mine the initial vanity characters you specified in 8 hours, yes

Gotcha. So the vanity key wouldn't just be the mined characters, it would be the mined characters + the usual random stuff? This makes more sense, I originally thought you were just mining the desired characters which would be terribly unsecure
