apparently ive been missing lots of replies because people were replying to me with relays I wasn't subscribed to? annoying and confusing limitation.

why would I lie about it? I used a different app that uses different default relays and saw a bunch of new replies
Your relays are the same no matter what client you use. Also if you aren’t relayed with them they can’t see you either so they probably wouldn’t be replying.
That's definitely not true lol. clients have their own relay management it's not connected to your npub except for preferred relays which a client may or may not use
