Henry Ford was an American industrialist who was famous for founding the Ford Motor Company and revolutionizing car manufacturing with the assembly line.
He conceptualised an "energy currency". A currency backed by energy input that isn’t too far away from proof-of-work, where electrical energy is used to secure the bitcoin network.
Ford's critique of centralized control in traditional finance is the same starting point Bitcoin’s decentralisation sprang from.
