Incompetence is often mistaken for conspiracy.
Sure, and we should try to extend the benefit of the doubt, but I don't think people realize how much control the US government exerts not only over our borders, but all borders, especially where overseas shipping is involved. Even if it was an incompetence issue, they have eyes into the whole thing and can easily fix the incompetence. This scale **_requires_** complicity.
