What are your feelings about artificial intelligence? I see it as a net benefit as many things will be done more efficiently, freeing up time to grow in other areas. However, I also see the dangers in a powerful technology being used in malicious ways.

I have yet to see the benefits that come from technology used in a way that offer more freedom to the population. The rewards of humanity becoming more productive have gone to a select few while the average person falls further and further behind.
When it comes to AI I feel that it’s like the equivalent of the arms race when the nuclear bomb was developed. What happened to those countries that couldn’t weaponized themselves fast enough? Global power was shaped in those crucial moments.
Only now it’s about domination of the entire race. And there is no way for the average citizen to protect themself. We can’t make a nuke, per-say. We are defenseless against AI for the most part and all we can do is hope that it’s used properly. But what does history tell us? It won’t be used properly and it will be used to further enslave the human race.
