I was basketball and beach volleyball growing up. He seems to gravitate towards football (but loves to be a keeper, height helps) and martial arts.

Funny you say beach volleyball. We don’t really have that for boys in Georgia and my son loves basketball & football, but the beach volleyball coach at my son’s new school in Hawaii has reached out to us about him playing. He doesn’t seem interested, but he is curious about water polo which he can start playing in 8th grade. We know nothing about it.
I tried water polo, did not enjoy it and it was truly exhausting. Once you give beach volley a try and start diving in the sand to catch balls or jump and smash them balls over the net… it’s easy to get hooked. Too bad beach volley season is really short here in Switzerland (and does not involve a real beach)
