Awesome little Interview! I completely understand wanting your product to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Any custodial wallet, even if it's run from a boat on international waters will eventually get regulatory pressure too.
I saw a few Stacker News posts in the following days after Bluewallet stopped custodial LN service asking questions like "do I have to pay a 3,000 sat channel opening fee on Phoenix EVERY time I make a payment?
I would love there to be a poll in like 6 months of people who used their custodial Lightning wallet where they ended up going, whether they went to noncustodial options or Wallet of Satoshi. Still, every person that did pursue noncustodial options is one more that wouldn't have if Bluewallet remained as they were.
