When money is tracked, identity is watched, and privacy is gone. Fiction just became prophecy.

Why should we use a traceable currency then? Using something which is built to be surveilled (public, transparent) and then complaining about being surveilled is a bit odd, no? Serious question.

It ain't traceable if you use it right...

Thanks Max, but how many normal users do you think are able to run your scripts - and how many are willing and able to invest the time?

I believe in the future all wallets will by default use payjoin or similar tech so you don't need to even think about it

i think people will lose faith in btc as a currency and use something else.

True, not many.

But it's kinda like pay join, only a small subset of users has to do it in order to get a huge privacy benefit for everyone.

And this will be in the UI eventually.

How does my mom get a huge privacy benefit from other people using coinjoin when she uses bitcoin normally?

It needs to be public and trasparent so it is possible to verify the amount of coins in circulation

how often do you do that?

My node does it for me every 10 minutes

Sounds mysterious
