10 years ago, a 16 dollar lunch was considered excessive luxury for me, something I would never do. I'd pay tops 10 dollar for a lunch.

Today you get a fucking salad for the same price. And the wages hasn't budged at all in that same time. So only way to keep up without drowning is to climb the fiat ladder.

Fuck inflation.

Fuck inflation... all the way. Bitcoin (in the end) fix this :)

And then you get tip shamed at the register for that salad.

Do you want to tip 15%, 25% or Other for this 60 second interaction?

Good Morning

have a wonderful day

I go to the US all the time and, although in Europe inflation is excessive like everywhere else, the difference I've experienced in the US in the past couple of years is just BRUTAL. Especially eating out.

Good Morning β˜•πŸ₯

Have a big breakfast and save on the lunch πŸ˜‰

The extra dollars you pay now are the free lunch for the politicians and banksters…

Be happy you can buy them lunch, you are sharing your wealth πŸ˜…πŸ’©

Already living in communism.

I saw an empty shop space the other day and my first thought was buy it and turn it into a simple cafe/diner. Heavily promote prices that are at least half the norm in my town but ONLY accept Bitcoin. Even if the shop sat empty for a year it would send a clear message. Also would be a cool place for bitcoiners for events and meetups.

That sounds amazing. The tricky part is to bootstrap it but it definitely makes sense to put a heavy discount when using bitcoin.

It’s a hamster wheel with the tension on the wheel getting tighter…..

Then if you don’t climb the performance/efficiency/output ladder(s) you bitcoin wage will deflate just like everything else?

Nope, not everything you save in bitcoin. It will preserve its value.

I agree on this part. My question was does bitcoin wage deflate (in number of sats) or not? What do you think
