Really is, I wonder if they think about how their actions scare people away and make more people think everything is a scam?
I think no. They only see until their profit. The rest does not matter.
And that is why bitcoin thought as a scam. I guess usually in people's head:
Crypto is scam.
Bitcoin is crypto.
Bitcoin is scam.
Also the fall of big exchanges does not help. They are a reinforcement of, "see I told you so that crypto is a scam."
Yea it's really shitty, high time preference thinking. That's why it's so imperative to separate bitcoin from crypto.
I think we're doing a good job of that but to the average person they still lump bitcoin in with all these exchanges and their scam tokens.
I think one solution could be to have services that work with btc, but we don't really explain that it works with btc. At the end, for them at least, it does not matter.
It is like the light switch. You don't know how it works. It is useful, and it just works.
Yea like what strike is doing. I imagine a lot more of that kind of stuff will pop up!
