why is Elon not interested in protocols? He really believes his single company X will handle half of the worlds transactions? Look at what happened with PayPal: they can and will freeze your account for any reason. This would be dystopian hell, worse than CBDCs.
he's reeeeeaaaally friends with govts, so it's pretty natural for him to be in bed with them
