i was reading a wikipedia article about a punkrock band yesterday, and it was quickly clear it had been written by AI. It contained all of the chronological facts, and none on the human elements which woild have been included had it been written by someone who knew what they were talking about.

There’s so much of this ai generated junk now. All optimized for the algorithm to sell ads or get engagement and not to serve the actual *humans* who read it!
and normal people are clueless about it

nostr, some fediverse, old school flatfile websites with rss, going back to older protocols like gopher and irc, newer protocols like gemini, using old school Pubnix servers like sdf.org, mailing lists, bbs, and started using 9front more which doesnt even have a web browser that supports js, but can share over 9p.
internet archive…torrents… sharing stuff other than code with git.
walking away from the mainstream internet.
