With supply - if a graph suddenly goes up, but before it went up it was going down, draw a straight line across from where the graph started going down to where it started going up. If the area under the increase matches the area between the line you drew and the graph, the increase may have been offsetting the decrease. A person could even colour in the area under the line you drew to the graph with a crayon, which is a 'fuzzy integral' many 6 year olds would be capable of doing, but, to be fair, not that brilliantly.)
