I need a map of all Square merchants (without KYCing) so I can roll up to them like this.
Iβll literally go one by one to these stores and say βIβll buy this thing if I can pay in Bitcoin. Turn on Bitcoin payments on the terminal, hereβs how.β Imagine 1,000 freaks do this and enable 10 stores each.
I wrote an article to persuade Square Terminal owners to accept Bitcoin. I would love to add a tutorial, but have never actually used a Square Terminal for payments.

Now, for the pain points. She had her Square POS app running in retail mode and Bitcoin didnβt show up on her checkout screen as an option even after she had turned it on. We had to switch her app to standard POS, which she was more happy to do but that was far from ideal since it required so much handholding on my part. I definitely wouldnβt have been able to do that at a busy coffee shop for example. Is there any reason why Bitcoin is only available in standard POS mode? @miles you guys should definitely look into a fix.
