I checked just now. Doesn’t seem to be available. Is it available?

where did you check? πŸ€”

namecheap just gives invalid TLD

also npub.ly is an option

Godaddy, who.is, google domains.

registered and everything? πŸ™€

It seems to be available but not all registrars support the .ly TLD. I checked this on 101domain.com.

Ah

Not worth $100 imho.

didn’t expect it to be this expensive πŸ˜…πŸ’œ

Libya used to make all their money from oil. Now they just sell domain names.

im probably sounding stiff, but I think of shorturl services as unnecessary centralized 3rd parties

Done!

Thus throwing this MVP out and let people try. Some likes it. Some may not agree. We wanna hear.

What do you think about having such utility service powered by nostr?

Not sure what you meant.

Some thoughts:

- this project is an inspiration to other devs and users, that nostr can be used for non social apps / purpose

- other url shorteners, could change their pricing, could limit the number of free urls, they could collect user information, they even require sign in. This is a reimagine of such service. Totally free and simple. Not sure if you tried it already, it’s just pasting link and press enter. That’s all.
