Preparing to evacuate our house from the Chilean wildfires. Thousands of houses consumed already. It's raining ashes.
My bet is it won't make it here but the situation is dire with family members already evacuated and friends having lost everything but their lives.
Clearly arsonists are to blame with the fires having started in 3 places within the same hour with other 5 quickly following those.
I wonder how a country dry as Chile could defend against that. Not even a death penalty could stop this from happening. You don't need lasers from the sky. With a bag full of tiny timers with flame bombs, a lone mad man could start 100 fires all in the same minute.

There is more anger at those arsonists than fear for my stuff or life. Why can't we just have nice things? The value destroyed with a few matches here and there? For what? To make a president look weak?
A scary video from yesterday. Today there is less wind. The speed with which the fire advances into the population is crazy. No wonder people died.
