I found wealth to be really detrimental to motivation. Especially if it's easy come easy go like you see among the crypto people. Those people lose the ability to apply effort for the rest of their lives.

On the other hand, most projects never take off because of lack of wealth behind them. The most interesting people have lived across all levels. It's hard to find a balance.
