sunshine led me on a 4mi walk. Kicked ma butt but needed it. Git ousside folks!

Now journaling my adventures since Superb owls flew last weekend. Lotsa stuff centered around nostr, dear nostr. (sidebar - what a friggin' delight this is fer a geezer whose neurocircuitry's hardened a touch here, burned out there, an soooo on. Pura vida delight.)

In efforts to get my own private relay, we (royal) went with (alliteration) embassy OS over Umbrel. Easy install save for getting https to work over my home network (multiple LANs, little experience doing this before). I did manage to get HTTPS connectivity over the same LAN (but would be suuweeet to access it from the machines on the other side of my citadel on another LAN... help?).

So long short of that struggle led to re-installing linux os on one of these more convenient computers I use. All good; was fed up with ub's Snap app mgmt, so I'm now running Pop! with encryption on an old dell. So far, clean and stable.

^ this also required me to re-install sparrow and restore the wallet from seeds. Yasss

and in other new... building through k3tan's amazebahllz UBN22 series. Now completed through vid 06. (Today I plan to have ma own mempool.space.) It's a slow burn on this side. Not rushing - trying to learn as I go, though it often takes multiple attempts.
