His “NOSTR only” branding has backfired when Elon “gifts” him a blue check … effectively making him what he has loathed to become (at least to the casual observer). Odell only has 1 move now but it will cost him a huge % of his platform…a platform which allows him to speak to a large audience about his passion (bitcoin, privacy, and freedom tech)…which seems to be a big piece of his livelihood / passion / purpose.

NOSTR only means giving up on the social credit website…which many of us have done. But we don’t have the value compounded in Twitter like Odell does.

I just don’t see Odell clicking the “deactivate account” button and waiting 30 days while what he built over the course of a decade countdown to oblivion.
