Just a reminder that kids want time and memories with their parents more than they want things from them. I often forget this. Even a poor child with a strong family is going to live a richer life, in my opinion, than some upper middle class kid that realistically spends less than 5 hours a week with their parents. I'm happy for them to come crash my projects anytime. The whole reason I work so hard is for them in the first place, they aren't in my way. I even take the boys with me to work from time to time. Just so they can SEE what a workday looks like. That's something I never got a closeup on when I was young.
