There are Bitcoiners on X who say they don't care about the engagement and their follower counts means nothing.
Yet they talk shit about NOSTR.

It’s the monetization of engagement that ramped up the noise no doubt.

I used to have a lot of engagement on Twitter until the algorithm made me completely irrelevant. I was getting more engagement on the Fediverse than on Twitter.
At the moment, the engagement I get on Nostr is less than what I had on the Fediverse but more than what I was having on Twitter near the end.
