I actually think, since the last Surveillance Report, that Telegram was never anything about privacy or security.

If illegal activity occurs, there must be a regulator. Abusing others' data is clearly wrong, but allowing criminals to act freely is equally unjust. For months, I've been terrorized and stalked by a psychopath on this platform, and the decentralized nature of this protocol limits my right to stop this person. I'm sure many have witnessed this abuse and found it amusing, watching as this person nostr:npub1jelccnd3jal0nxg594achpcrhcfrkk5zam5acz227aq3r6sftkhq7q6w42 verbally and systematically harassed me from various public spaces.
I am only pointing out, that Telegram lied about their compiance with government requests.
I know, that inherently anonym communication also makes it easier to harass someone without legal conapsequences. But there is always a way to conteract. In my view criminal activity is no point against privacy.
But I am defnitly sorry for you if you get herrassed.
The idea of a lack of control drives people crazy, making them act without limits. Personally, I am someone who is very much against bullying. I do not support hate speech fren.
I am all against bullying.
I am happy for every node, which deletes attempts to humiliate minority groups or single people for something they can not change.
