Using anonymous global or regional data esims not only improves your privacy, but gives you better service. Because you are usually in roaming, if the coverage of one operator is not good, or they have an outage, you can usually use a different one, which is not possible if you're "at home".

Also you can have one as a backup. Mobimatter has so far the best prices and 1 year validity of data. Keepgo has also good programs. Bitrefill has shorter term, but can be cheaper per gb. All three support crypto payments.

What about silent link?

I am just looking for a home internet. Do you have an experience with usage of mobimatter or such for this use case?

Anyway some additional router would be required as I do not want to keep opening a mobile hotspot. Have you ever try some and have a recommendation?

don't have recent experience with esim hotspots.

mobimatter works quite ok, but for permanent home internet I would go for Starlink instead

A fun fact regarding Mobimatter. I have Polish Sparks and when I google receiving results at .pl domains, the same at youtube, spotify, etc., the ads there are in polish language :))

sometimes funny, sometimes annoying..

Oh the weirdness of internet with ads.
