interesting fact that is very inconvenient to the eco doom cult
ever noticed how the desert zone across the middle east and north africa is a big long streak?
that's because about 10,000 years ago, there was a very big rock (something like 60m diameter) that had a near miss - it didn't strike the earth in one piece, instead it zipped across from over northwest india through the middle east, and across north africa, as so hot that it carbonised everything underneath its path for hundreds of miles, and then as it got to the edge of north africa it exploded
the pieces landed in parts of the modern USA and created several lakes
it also put an end to the cooling period of the younger dryas and marked the beginning of the bronze age
the desert of north africa and the middle east did not get like that due to humans farming cows and large grain monocropping
it was toasted
the plants were basically eliminated completely from the land, and all the microflora in the soil was cooked and much of the carbon in the soil was turned into carbon dioxide
it was not humans that did this
it was a giant fucking boulder from space, that very nearly blew up northern india if it'd come in at a slightly steeper angle
